Saute in small oil:
Add, cook until softened
1 1/2 pound of chopped plum tomatoes (canned diced tomatoes may be subsituted - 1 large can)
Add, stir till mixture is hot:
2 cans of pureed cannelini beans
1 can of cannelini beans with liquid
salt to taste
1 pound of dried beans that have been cooked may be subsituted for canned beans, no need to puree a portion of those.
Serve over pasta (Hassan's preference), rice or bulgar.
