That only 5% of babies are born on their due dates?
Still no progress here. Day 2 at home, and still enjoying myself - well for the most part. Happy it is the weekend and I'll have company aside from the cat.
Speaking of the cat - care to know what he does all day? He takes turns sleeping between the cushions of the couch, and shooting me dirty looks. Can you imagine how pissed off he's going to be with the screaming infant we bring home from the hospital shortly? Maybe we'll finally convince him to get a job.
Anyhow, waiting for Hass to get home from work, hoping he'll take pity on me and take me out to dinner. Who knows, every time could be our last as a party of two. Although Sprout's getting so big these days, it's hard not to ask for a table for three, a chair for the man, a chair for the lady, a of course - the belly! But I refuse to admit that as long as she insists on traveling incognito (great word eh? I swear I didn't plan this whole entry around trying to use it - I SWEAR IT!)
I am a ooold friend of Hass (back in his "call me sammy" days)...anyway, i had a little boy in July and thought I'd give you a tip:
if that baby isnt out yet, you need to get out! yes, going out to eat...go to movies as comfort allows...
having a baby is awesome and you'll never be happier, but when one realizes that the ONLY time you and your husband gets together is a 1/2 hour lunch break every other thursday, then you'll really relish the 'just the two of you' time.
and by the way, as for my case in due dates: origially the due date was 7/19, then noting his great size, they upped it to 7/9 then when that came and passed, they moved it back to 7/19...when that passed, they induced me on the 26th....
if Sprout is seeming to be a big girl, then she might be less eager to come out, its what i've learned: big babys are more complacent and ergo, lazy. :)
