8:30 a.m. and we're on our fouth onsie of the day. Two open-air peeing incidents, and one leaky pooper. One load of laundry in the wash already. All three changes have happened in the last 3 hours, at this rate, we'll go through 1 onsie an hour and exhaust our clean slothes supply about 3 a.m.
Lets hope for the best.

. . . is a day that's too warm to take the baby out.
The weather has turnned hot, putting the smack-down on our regularly scheduled walks into town and run/walks around area parks. It has even greatly curtailled outdoor walks once we get to a destination. So we're making lots of trips to malls, which all seem to be the same place, but they are air conditionned. If anybody knows of good cool destinations for a 4 month old who likes to keep moving, and easily gets heat rashes we'd love to hear them.
Yesterday, was a hellish day on the toothing front, the crescendo came during a sustainned rage around 3 p.m. Hass abandonned the homeopathic toothing relief drops, and reached for the Oragel. Seconds later, all were happy, and we went out to the mall.

Typo, running on Ruby on Rails, quite quite cool. It's been a very geeky and domestic summmer. I finally cleanned up and tweaked out my desktop, considering posting a screen shot of that too.

Josie made her first trip out of New Jersey and into the big city of Nueava Yorka yesterday. Our fears of a fussy baby were hushed during the drive in where Josie slept for the entire trip, and didn't even wake up until after we parked. Our 2 hour visit with my sister( in town for the weekend) was graced by J-bug's first restaurant experience which was also an absolutley mellow calm baby experience. It was a great trip for everybody, and a tremendous suprise for parents who had expected the worst. Josie's capstone achievement was napping for the entire trip home.
This site was about maps, a thug cat and lofty ideas. Then the Cartographer (Hassan Hodges) got the GIS maven (Nicole Hodges) pregnant with Josephine Hodges. Now it looks like we've got ourselves a parenting blog.
